The Lean Liaison serves as an agency’s point person for sharing information about Lean, promoting its use, and coordinating agency Lean activities. Liaisons are a key communication link between each agency and the LeanOhio Office.

Lean Liaison for the Ohio Department of Transportation

Daveen has twenty years’ experience in state government and an M.S. in Business Psychology. She has worked in several areas of government including Human Resources, Chief Legal, Communications, and Director’s Office. She is currently at the Ohio Department of Transportation where she serves as the Administrator of the Office of Employee Development and Lean. This office is responsible for the development and training of over 4,900 ODOT employees as well as process improvement efforts of the organization. Daveen is also trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is involved in many improvement initiatives within the department.

Experience includes:
• Facilitating Kaizen events
• Scoping Kaizen events
• Delivering presentations on Lean, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma
• Conducting training on Lean, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma
• Coaching on certain aspects of Lean, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma
